Village Satov is situated about 10 km southwest of Znojmo. In the surroundings of Satov there are significant landscape elements, such as protected natural monument "Havranicke" rocks in the northwestern part of the village. In the sandstone slope above Satov there is concave plastic wine cellar decorated with paintings of folk artist and serves as a private wine cellar. During building a heavy objects of the Czechoslovak fortification in 1938 in the South Moravia, were built three fortresses in the surroundings of Satov. The surroundings is suitable for hiking and cycling.
